Nepal Tourism Year 2011

The government of Nepal has declared 2011 as Nepal Tourism Year, and was officially inaugurated on 15th January, 2011. Nepal targets to welcome 1 million foreign visitors to Nepal this year, 700,000 by air and 300,000 by land. Although achieving this will entail almost doubling the number of visitors—it is definitely achievable. Travel &trade entrepreneurs are excited and upbeat about the positive move, and have introduce many innovative products, set ambitious targets, and resorted to aggressive promotion strategies.
