Etihad Airways is a 4-star airline and the national airlines of the UAE, with its hub in Abu Dhabi. It started commercial flights from late 2003, growing rapidly to serve over 64 destinations in 42 countries today. It operates seven flights a week to Kathmandu from Abu Dhabi. It operates non-stop flights from New York, Chicago, and Toronto to Abu Dhabi. However, the connection from Abu Dhabi to Kathmandu requires a 10 hour layover in Abu Dhabi.
